🚀 Breaking New Ground in Berlin: Get Ready to Rock! 🚀

Friday, June 21, 2024 marked the kick-off for a new Cell and Gene Therapy Center in Berlin, a joint initiative by Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and Bayer | Pharmaceuticals. For us at MyoPax as Berlin-based spin-off of Charité and Max Delbrück Center, dedicated to developing targeted cell and gene therapies for muscle disorders, this is fantastic news. This joint commitment will strengthen the regional, national, and international ecosystem, paving the way for the successful and sustainable implementation of these groundbreaking therapies.

The event was graced by notable guests including German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Health Minister Karl Lauterbach, Berlin’s Governing Mayor Kai Wegner, Judith Pirscher from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Franziska Giffey, Mayor and Berlin State Senator for Economic Affairs, Energy and Public Enterprises, and Dr. Ina Czyborra, Berlin State Senator for Health and for Science.

Many thanks to the TV broadcaster RBB and the national ARD news program Tagesschau for highlighting the enormous potential of these therapies, the commitment of all stakeholders and 💡 MyoPax 😊 in this context.
