MyoPax is the first startup to receive funding through IBB Ventures’ new B# Plus initiative. The funding will support the further development of MyoPax’s gene-repair and regenerative muscle stem cell platform and help prepare its first therapeutic candidate for clinical development.

MyoPax is being built by an interdisciplinary team led by its three female founders, Prof. Dr Simone Spuler, Dr Diane Seimetz and Dr Verena Schöwel-Wolf. The company is translating technologies developed at Charité and the Max Delbrück Center into innovative therapeutic applications.
