A Special Visit from The Speak Foundation

We were truly privileged this week to welcome Kat Bryant Knudson, Founder and CEO of The Speak Foundation, to MyoPax in Berlin.

The Speak Foundation is a leading US-based patient advocacy organisation dedicated to advancing care and accelerating therapeutic development for Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy (LGMD), a subgroup of genetic muscular dystrophies. It was an honour to discuss in detail our cell and gene therapy technology and how we can accelerate clinical translation of highly novel research discoveries to clinical trials and marketed products for patients affected by LGMD.

Collaboration with advocates like Kat and The Speak Foundation is key in driving our mission of developing effective first-time therapies.
